Our inshore fishing trips are the perfect fishing trip for clients looking for Mackerel, or the majestic and beautiful Rooster Fish. You can also combine inshore fishing with bottom fishing to target an even more diverse range of species.
Bottom fishing is one of the most common fishing techniques used to catch fish near the seafloor. The best way to find large species of predatory fish such as grouper and snapper is by using drifting and anchoring tactics near our captain’s secret reef locations.

Inshore fishing is in water up to 99 feet deep and 3 miles from shore. Common species caught during our inshore fishing trips from Jaco are Spanish mackerel, snook, and roosterfish.
