Jungle Crocodile Safari – Discover The Crocs!

Tárcoles River in Central Pacific Costa Rica, one of the most populated crocodile rivers in the world!

From our safe riverboat, we cruise the river observing American crocodiles of all sizes in their natural habitat and up-close. Other reptiles such as iguanas and lizards that run on water are also frequently spotted.

The river is home to an abundance of beautiful exotic birds, such as the Roseate Spoonbill, Scarlet Macaw, Purple Gallinule, and a variety of Kingfishers, Egrets, Herons, and more. In one tour it is possible to spot around 50 different varieties of birds!

Admire the rivers’ surrounding rainforest scenery as we make our way towards the Guacalillo mangrove forest. We pass through the dense mangrove canals where animals such as monkeys, raccoons, and mangrove crabs may be seen.
