During our fishing and diving combo charter to Tortuga Island, you will enjoy fishing along the 90-minute boat trip from Los Suenos to Tortuga Island. This is the perfect charter for clients looking for offshore fishing, beach time, snorkeling, and diving all combined in one trip.
Often during the trip along the Pacific Coast of Nicoya, you will see mantas, dolphins, turtles, and whales when in season. Once at Tortuga Island, we will anchor and you will be greeted by your divemaster. Certified divers will be able to choose between one or two tank dives. Beginners will embark on our Discovery Training and once comfortable in the shallows of the beach dive location, will embark on a one-tank dive. For those guests that will not be diving, you can snorkel, hike the trails on the island or relax on the beach.
When diving you can expect to see schools of pufferfish, turtles, stingrays, white tip reef sharks, and a lot of beautiful tropical fish species. Depths around Tortuga Island range from 10 to 20 meters. There are a few wreck sites, as well as cave dives for professional divers. Dives will be decided based on current, water, and weather conditions by your divemaster. Visibility when diving at Tortuga Island is between 10 – 30 meters
