This tour you will cruise on your mountain back up Miro Mountain, a 1.7 mile trail that offers the chance to see wildlife and spectacular views. We will make stops at the "Arches", the "Restaurant" and "Cruce Hermosa." At "Cruce Hermosa" we have the option of continuing on to "El Nance" (with a great lookout!) or "Tres Marias." Beginner/Intermediate -not technical. All rides are based on riders ability/fitness level. We can also arrange a more mellow/flat ride for those that don't like riding uphill. There are a couple of options in the area that allow you to enjoy the countryside without overexerting yourself.

The Poás Volcano is an active 2,708-metre (8,885 ft) stratovolcano. The crater of the volcano is over a mile across and 1050 feet deep. At the Volcano you will have time to enjoy the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles, and hike on a trail to the beautiful Botos Lagoon as we learn about the different ecosystems in the park.
Location: Alajuela. From two to three hours’ drive north of Jaco Beach.
